DAY 01      DEPARTURE MANILA

Check in at NAIA airport.

DAY 02         ISTANBUL  

Welcome to Istanbul. You will be transferred to your hotel and at 13:00 we will have a short visit to the Egyptian Spice Bazaar and a cruise along the European & Asian shores of the Bosphorus. Overnight in Istanbul

DAY 03        ISTANBUL – ANKARA (B, D)

Morning free for personal activities. Around 13:00 / 14:00 hrs pick up from the hotel and drive to Ankara (approx 4.5 hrs). Arrive & transfer to hotel. Dinner & Overnight.

DAY 04       ANKARA – CAPPADOCIA (B, L, D)                               

After breakfast city sightseeing including the famous Museum of Anatolian Civilization & the Mausoleum of Ataturk, founder of modern Turkey. Then continue to Cappadocia via the Salt Lake. Lunch en route. Arrival at hotel

DAY 05     CAPPADOCIA (B, L, D)

After breakfast full day is dedicated to exploring the amazing world of Cappadocia, unique in the world for its moon-like landscape. Visit the amazing underground city of Kaymakli used by the Christians of the 7th century as a refuge from the Roman persecutions, rock-carved churches in Goreme, troglodyte villages & fairy chimneys at Urgup, Avcitar & Uchisar. Lunch at a typical restaurant. Dinner & overnight at hotel.

DAY 06     CAPPADOCIA – KONYA – PAMUKKALE (B, L, D)

Breakfast at Hotel & departure for Konya, the former capital of the Seljuk empire. Visit en route the Seljuk caravanserai of Sultanhani. Arrive at Konya & visit the Mausoleum of Mevlana, the great philosopher who founded the sect of the Whirling Dervishes. Continue to Pamukkale. Lunch en route. Arrive at Pamukkale & enjoy the sunset on its unique formation of petrified calcium cliffs. Dinner & overnight at hotel.

DAY 07     PAMUKKALE – KUSADASI (B, L, D)

Morning breakfast at the hotel. Visit the ancient city of Hierapolis & the hot-spring pools of Pamukkale, a spectacular natural site of dazzling white castles. Lunch en route. Drive to Aphrodisias & visit the ancient city dedicated to the Goddess of Love, Aphrodite.

DAY 08     KUSADASI (B, L, D)

Early Breakfast Excursion to Ephesus, the Roman capital of Asia Minor. Visit the ruins of Odeon, Temple of Hadrian, the famous Roman Baths, etc. Visit the House of Virgin Mary & the Basilica of St John. Lunch at Selcuk. Dinner & overnight at hotel in Kusadasi.

 DAY 09    KUSADASI – PERGAMUM – CANAKKALE    (B,L,D)

Morning breakfast at hotel & drive to Pergamum. Lunch & visit the Asclepion, once a therapeutic center. Lunch en route. Continue to Troy & visit the site of the legendary town in the Iliad of Homeros. Drive to Canakkale. Dinner & overnight at hotel.

 DAY 10  CANAKKALE  – ISTANBUL  (B)

After breakfast drive to Gallipoli, site of fierce battles during WWI, visit the Anzac Cove & war memorials. Continue to Istanbul. Transfer to hotel. Afternoon free for personal activities or a visit to Grand Bazaar.

 DAY 11  ISTANBUL  (B, L)

Full day city sightseeing with lunch including Hippodrome; once, the center of horse races, chariot rallies, and Byzantine civic life. Today only remain three monuments: The Obelisk of Theodosius, the bronze Serpentine Column and the Column of Constantine. Blue Mosque; With its harmonious cascade of cupolas and six minarets, is certainly one of the most majestic and elegant mosques of Istanbul.  Saint Sophia; Built in IV. Century, the basilica of St. Sophia is unquestionably one of the finest examples of Byzantine architecture, with its immense dome and beautifully preserved Byzantine mosaics. Topkapi Palace; Residence of the Sultans during the Ottoman Empire, today is one of the richest museums in the world, with priceless jewels, thrones, tiles, collections of porcelains and sacred relics. After the tour transfer to the airport for the return flight after midnight.
