Countries in Europe, with Iceland leading the pack, remains at the top of the list of safe places to visit on Earth. Rich in history, culture, fine arts and magnificent scenery and landmarks, there’s more than a thousand reason to visit any city or country in Europe. In most European cities, it is safe to walk or travel alone, even at night, however, in densely populated cities, like in any city in the world, be wary of pick pockets and thieves. Here is a list of European countries (in alphabetical order) with their current situation or note worthy news as of today (November 26, 2015).

 

COUNTRIES IN EUROPE

  • Albania – Safe to travel.

  • Belgium – Although listed as one of the safest country to travel (#14 in the Global Peace Index made this year 2015), recent stake outs and hunt for terrorists are being done, which may cause alarm and concern for locals and tourists.
