I. PILGRIMAGE TOURS

 

How does it work?
Pilgrimage tours focus on sites based on religious relevance. For instance, our Jordan , Israel & Egypt Tour focuses on biblical sites and how it looks like before and now in the modern times. Not all pilgrimage tours are group tours. Jordan , Israel and Egypt Tour, Europe Marian Tour and Eastern Europe Tours depart by group. However, if you wish that you visit these places exclusively, we can accommodate your request at a different cost. What are the terms and conditions for Pilgrimage tours?
PIRKKO & TROYTOURS, INC…has arranged for the various tour services to be performed under the responsibility of various contractors.  Pirkko & Troytours, Inc., its employees, or its sub-agents therefore only act as agents for the contractors providing the various services described in the tour and accept no responsibility or liability in connection with losses or accidental expenses due to delays of schedule, overbooking, defaults or “force majeure”.  All tours and arrangements are subject to the general conditions specified by each contractor.  Tour itineraries and prices are subject to change without prior notice. When making a tour booking, the passenger acknowledges and accepts the foregoing conditions.
Initial deposit is non refundable unless tour is cancelled by Pirkko & Troy Tours, Inc or by the supplier, or if the passengers are declared unfit to travel prior or during the tour and is certified by a licensed physician, confirmed  upon submission of a medical certificate. Succeeding deposits may be transferred to another person or another tour provided that it is not yet under the penalty period stated by Tour operator.

II. CRUISES

 

How does it work?
Cruises inside our Cruises Tab are sailing dates of cruise itineraries on sale from International Cruise Liners worldwide. There are others cruises available all over the world but these sailing dates are the ones you can enjoy huge discounts. Please take note that the price indicated in the itinerary is basically just the cruise fare which constitutes your accommodation and meals onboard the ship. It does not include airfare, Cruise and airline taxes, Travel Taxes and tips or gratuities. They are on sale or cheaper in relevance to the price and number of nights ratio compared to other sailing dates.

If you have booked with us and did not receive anything like this, please ask for a copy.

– In any case you foresee that you are unable to join the cruise (due to visa denial, Sickness, etc), cruise liners offer and sell Insurance to protect your deposit. Please ask us should you wish to avail for one as it requires you to purchase the insurance upon initial deposit. Failure to do so will forfeit any refund of payments made prior to insurance purchase.

III. SPECIAL TOURS

 

How does it work?
– Special Tours are package tours we have customized based on very common requests from previous passengers. They are designed to be moderately flexible in terms of number of participants (minimum 2 or 1 with additional single supplement), itinerary (we can re-arrange the sequence of tours depending on availability), and travel date (departs any day as long as the flights and services are confirmed). They may or may not be a group departure and notice will be provided on each itinerary.

IV. LOCAL TOURS

 

How does it work?
– Our Local Tour tab offers land arrangements from different destinations in the Philippines. Please take note that prices indicated includes accommodations on a per person basis (unless otherwise specified). All inclusions of services are written there as well.

V. GENERAL PAYMENT POLICY

 

What are the acceptable forms of payment?
– We accept Cash (Peso or Dollar; Deposit or direct payment), Check (Peso only; deposit or direct payment), Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, UnionPay), Western Union, Xoom or Bank Transfer. When making payments via Bank Transfer, Xoom or Western Union, please take note that amount in statement does not include surcharges/fees being applied by these establishments and must be on the passenger’s account.

Other helpful questions:

 

– If I book and give my name, am I obliged in any responsibility?
No. We appreciate it if you could provide your name or names of the passengers during the time of booking so that we could provide a more accurate quotation, and most of all, we could commit on the price until the indicated deadline. The only time you are required for payment is when you confirm your booking and adhere to the deadline(s) and when you have paid the deposit/partial payment and balance is due. In this case, if deposit has been done and you wish to cancel your booking, payments made are subject to the tour or airline supplier’s cancellation policies. Failure to provide deposit or payment on a tour, cruise or airfare would automatically cancel your reservation. After which, any inquiry made will be render space subject to availability and price/taxes subject to change.

– How do I book or reserve my seat/room/tour?
Should you be interested in any of our tours or cruises, the next step is to scan your Passport data page (where you could find your picture, name, etc), send it to us via e-mail at travel@pirkkotroy.com and also indicate there which tour you wish to join, departure date, and how many of you will be joining. Should you, or any one of your group/family is eligible for Philippine Travel Tax Exemption (Tourists visiting the Philippines or Foreign Passports holding visa in the Philippines), please also send a copy of the page in your passport where the stamp of your latest arrival in the Philippines appear (date on latest arrival stamp must be within one year between the date of arrival and date of tour departure). As soon as we receive these information, we shall advise deposit requirements for the tour (as confirmation of intention to join), visa requirements and other items relevant to your tour.

– Why is it more expensive during some certain months/days?
Fares and prices are based on seasonality. During peak months (e.g. summer, festivals, Holidays, etc), demand is high and lower fares are either have been purchased months prior to the departure date or are no long valid. So what is left are the seats/rooms of a much higher category.

– Can I book the flight/ticket only?
Yes. Please e-mail us names of the passengers (as written in the passport) together with the scanned copy of the passport data page (where you could find the picture, name, etc) and the dates of departure and return including the city (cities) of destination. Please send your e-mail to travel@pirkkotroy.com. Once we have a confirmation, we will inform you by e-mail or call and advice deadline for ticket issuance.

– Can I book the hotel only?
Yes. You may book it by sending an email to travel@pirkkotroy.com and provide us with your name, hotel preference, date of arrival, number of nights’ stay and other preferences. Once we have a confirmation, we will inform you by e-mail or call and advice deadline for payment.

– When is the cheapest time to go to a certain destination?
Fares are low during lean season. These are the times when either only a few travel to specific destination or it is during the rainy season, and during times where there are no festivities or holidays. At certain times, airline promote a specific new destination they service and they drop their prices as an introductory promo. Please visit our blog from time to time for some useful tips and information regarding seat sales and holidays.

– When do airlines release promo seats?
Most travel agencies really do not know when, only the marketing staff of the airlines do. There are some rumors regarding specific airlines when they usually send out seat sales but this is yet to be proven. It is best to check the airline’s website from time to time to make sure you are updated by them by subscribing to their newsletters. Seat sales are usually available and applicable to dates of departure months prior (4 or 8 months) and usually these are during lean season or when tourists travel the least.

– How can I get the latest update, packages and promos from Pirkko & Troy Tours, Inc?
You can subscribe to our Newsletter to get our latest updates and packages including new group departures ahead of time. We will send them through your e-mail as soon as they are available. Currently, we are sending out updates quarterly, so rest assure we do not spam your mailbox. Why can’t I open some links or pages in the website?
-Some pages (specific departure dates under Pilgrimage tours and Special Tours) are in PDF format. In order to open it, you must have a PDF reader installed in your equipment (PC, laptop, mobile phone, Tablet, etc). You may download a PDF reader of your choice, or you could download Adobe Reader or FoxIt reader into your computer. Our website is best viewed in Mozilla Firefox and Google’s brower Google Chrome. We are constantly updating and improving our website to best serve you and deliver that latest and most accurate rates right in your screen.
